Hi, I’m Abhisek — a Senior Research Fellow working in Host-Virus Interactions lab, under the supervision of Dr. Gulam Hussain Syed at BRIC- Institute of Life Sciences, BBSR.

My current research leverages advanced genetic engineering and microscopy techniques to explore host-virus interactions with respect to the arboviruses. I am interested in understanding how these viruses manipulate host cellular machineries for their own replication and spread, and how we can leverage this knowledge to develop effective antiviral therapies and interventions.
